The San Juan Police Department participated in a Drive-by Parade in observance of Elder Abuse Awareness Month. As a community, it is important to collaborate and strengthen our efforts to prevent, report, and address elder abuse of all kinds. We would like to thank the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Hidalgo County Family Violence Taskforce, UTRGV Police Department, Edinburg Police Department, Rio Grande Valley Empowerment Zone, and Silver Ribbon for putting this parade together for a truly great cause.
