Records Division
The Records Division serves as the central repository for all police reports and related records. Records produce a monthly statistical report, which is sent to the FBI for tracking crime. Citizens wishing to obtain a copy of a police report may request one in person or by mail.

To process a request, please use the Public Information Request Form and provide a report number (if available), date, time, and location of the incident, or name(s) of the person(s) involved. Requests for copies may take 10 days or more to process, depending on the nature of the incident and if the case is still under investigation. All Public Information Requests Forms must be done online or through San Juan City Hall located at: 709 S. Nebraska St, San Juan, TX 78589

The City of San Juan participates with the Texas Crash Records Information System (C.R.I.S.). Our accident reports are uploaded to this system. You may request a copy of an accident report online by using the Crash Report Online Purchase System from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
You may also request a copy of an accident report in person at the San Juan Police South Side Station located at 301 E. Ridge Road. Services may be paid by cash/check/money order. Make check/money order payable to the City of San Juan.
